Pricing follows the familiar promo model, but the renewal math is unusually fair. Go renews at C$6.99 and Pro at C$9.99, roughly 1.8x to 2.5x the intro rate where US budget brands routinely charge 3x. Converted to US dollars the Pro plan lands under $3/mo on the promo and around $7.29/mo on renewal, which is competitive even before you count the latency and sovereignty benefits.

WHC is also one of the few North American independents with a credible green story: its infrastructure runs on renewable energy, helped by Quebec's hydroelectric grid. Support is 24/7 and fully bilingual, a real differentiator in Quebec and francophone markets that US hosts serve poorly.

The limits are the flip side of the focus. There are no datacenters outside Canada, so a site with a mostly American or European audience gains little. Backup storage is capped per tier, and the unlimited storage claims carry the usual fair-use caveats.
