The catalog is broad for the price. Shared plans start around $3.99/mo on a 3 year term with cPanel, unmetered bandwidth and free SSL; the Business tier adds unlimited sites. MochaHost is also one of the few budget hosts with first-class Java support - JSP, servlets and private Tomcat instances on shared-hosting prices - which has kept a loyal developer niche for two decades. Reseller plans (the Affogato range, from $11.99/mo for 15 cPanel accounts) include WHM, custom nameservers, Anycast DNS and Imunify360 security, a reasonable white-label starter kit.

Now the other side of the ledger, because it is substantial. MochaHost's support reputation is poor by modern standards: reviews across years describe slow first responses, scripted answers and multi-day resolution times for server-side problems. There is no phone support. For a solo hobby site that is an annoyance; for a reseller whose clients are down, it is a business risk, and it is the main reason we cannot rate MochaHost alongside NameHero or 20i.

Performance tells a similar story. Uptime is generally acceptable and the marketing touts a 100% uptime SLA, but an SLA is a credit policy, not a performance guarantee, and independent monitoring shows more variance than the badge implies. Recommended narrowly: Java developers on a budget, and price-certainty shoppers who have read the support caveats twice. Agencies and anyone reselling to paying clients should spend more elsewhere.
